Design Culture Now was a project assignment that asked us to design a mock poster that advertised speakers for an event taking place at the Nevada Museum of Art. We were instructed to specifically have the speaker names and information as well as important details like the address and logo prominent on the poster somewhere. I opted for a black background with white text to add uniqueness to the poster and add higher contrast to make it visually interesting for a more artistically inclined audience. I kept with that theme and did bright green/pink to attract a younger demographic to also want to go and a neat repeating effect for the numbers for each speaker.
